Compared to the first generation, this year’s new Rainbow Daytona features three key upgrades: redesigned dial hour markers, updated hands with enhanced color contrast, and refined case material and finishing.
In the second generation, Rolex replaced the large square-cut baguette diamonds with elegant, tapered baguette gems for the hour markers. Remarkably, these dial markers are arranged in a seamless gradient that precisely mirrors the chromatic progression of the bezel’s rainbow sapphire array.
The case and bracelet are crafted from premium 316L stainless steel, meticulously machined via full CNC processing, followed by hand-finishing—including polishing, brushing, and rigorous quality inspection. The bezel angle, gemstone size, count, and color gradation replicate the authentic boutique Rainbow effect with exceptional fidelity. The dial features a high-grade K movement based on the Valjoux 7750 chronograph caliber, delivering timing functionality fully synchronized with official Rolex specifications. The solid-link bracelet is equipped with Rolex’s Oyster safety clasp—a secure, user-friendly mechanism that prevents accidental opening—ensuring both comfort and convenience on the wrist.
The watch’s most iconic feature remains its seven-color rainbow bezel and the twelve vividly colored diamond hour markers on the dial.
