The Official Edition features a fully faithful reproduction of the Caliber 4131, precisely mirroring the Swiss original in structure and functionality. In contrast, the Trial Edition employs a modified (‘de-tuned’) version of the 4131: it retains the column wheel, vertical clutch, robust chronograph performance, and exceptionally low service rate—but uses a unidirectional winding system and offers slightly reduced power reserve. Aside from the automatic winding module, all other structural and functional elements remain identical to the official 4131. Thus, the Trial Edition delivers outstanding value for money—its performance still significantly surpasses that of the Valjoux 7750, and its pricing is deliberately aligned with 7750-based Daytona replicas, marking the long-awaited successor to the 7750.
